Claire Marie is the Founder and Executive Director of Sammy & Friends, a company that offers training and resources to help school communities implement trauma-informed and developmentally appropriate emergency drills for children.
With more than thirteen years of professional experience, which includes serving as a reserve police officer, holding a degree in Public Health, and actively pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, she has cultivated a diverse background that distinctly qualifies her to offer various perspectives to the reunification process.
She specializes in integrating trauma-informed practices, psychological safety, and developmentally appropriate methods into K-12 school safety and emergency management. Her approach centers on fostering meaningful relationships between school systems and first responders.
