In-Person Training
Hands-on training, built for your community.
Every in-person training is tailored to your organization. We meet with you first, recommend the right program for where you are, and support you through the entire process. Prices are starting points: each event is scoped to your district, and travel is billed separately.
The crawl phase is where your team learns the entire reunification process and gets familiar with your plan and materials. Start with the training presentation, or go deeper with the half-day workshop and its guided, step-by-step walk-through of the full process.
Reunification Training Presentation
Covers the full reunification process, ICS integration, the four main site stations, team roles and responsibilities, and the importance of communication.
½ Day Reunification Workshop
Our most complete learning event: the training presentation, a guided in-class walk-through of the entire reunification process, and a tabletop exercise — followed by a facilitated after-action review (AAR).
In the walk phase you drill the individual phases of a reunification under realistic pressure — team communication, student triage and check-in, and parent/guardian check-in through release. These are training events, not evaluations: the goal is to find and fix the wrinkles one phase at a time.
Team Communication Tabletop
A facilitated tabletop focused on the reunification team’s internal coordination and communication as a scenario unfolds, built on your own plan, followed by a facilitated AAR.
Student Triage & Check-In Training + Drill
Train the student triage and accountability system, then drill team members against a sample roster — with 1–2 practice runs and a facilitated AAR.
Parent/Guardian Check-In Training + Drill
Train guardian verification and matching, then drill it — with 1–2 practice reunifications and a facilitated AAR.
The run phase brings every phase together in a single end-to-end drill. Your whole team works the complete reunification process — from notification through reunification — with as many stakeholders as you choose: communications, transportation, traffic, and more.
End-to-End Drill
Your entire reunification process from start to finish — notification, transportation, site setup, every station, communications, and contingencies — as close to a real event as you can safely make it, with documented findings and a facilitated AAR.
Ongoing training keeps your team sharp. The refresh phase follows the same format as crawl, walk, and run — tailored to your current needs and updated based on AARs and real-world experience.
Annual Re-Drill / Refresher
A custom refresher built around your team’s needs and schedule — re-run a Walk drill or refresh the team on the tool, with a facilitated AAR.
Custom Full-Scale Exercise
A multi-stakeholder, live exercise on request — scoped to the rare well-resourced district or a regional, multi-school event.

We never want cost to be the reason a school stays unprepared. Under-resourced and rural districts are encouraged to reach out about our sliding-scale pricing — every team deserves the chance to practice before it matters most.

Every in-person event includes unlimited email support before your event; ½-day events include one 1-hour planning meeting, and full-day and multi-day programs include two.
